What's your background? 

Following nine years working for BT, in both operational and HR roles, I spent eleven years working for "big four" consultancies.  My specialisms included change on major corporate transformations and ERP implementations, and organisational performance improvement; I also held a range of internal management roles.

What attracted you to Project One?

An ex-colleague had already joined, and was constantly singing the praise of both challenging work and genuine work-life balance.  Right through the interview process I was impressed by the emphasis Project One placed on both professional delivery and a very flexible working model.

How have you found life in Project One?

Project One offers a blend of some of the best of consultancy but without many of the downsides associated with “big four”. Consultants have much more freedom to deliver, yet can still leverage a range of corporate IP; and with the focus 100% on the client I can give much more attention to affairs on the ground, whilst still being able to return to my own bed every night.


What was your first assignment in Project One?

My first assignment was programme manager for a very large scale ERP programme in a leading retailer. I had responsibility for the day-to-day management of the programme, supporting the client programme director in leading and managing delivery.

What did your client value?
