Ian Hellens reflects on a record breaking year

At the beginning of 2011 we set ourselves the challenge of "achieving the Gold medal standard" in everything we do with our clients. The response to this challenge has been magnificent over the course of the year.

At a time when companies face many pressures, significant market uncertainty and demanding delivery deadlines, our clients continue to utilise our skills and experience, working together to address some of their most pressing challenges. The senior sponsors of these programmes are absolutely delighted with what we have achieved together. We are privileged to be working with several new clients including Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance, Yorkshire Building Society and Virgin Media which have been remarkable success stories.

This success is mirrored by our own business performance. For example, over the year we worked with 11 new clients, welcomed 24 new employees and achieved revenue growth of nearly 40% with a consultant utilisation rate of 89.4%. In addition, we have made significant progress in the development of our business, in particular: embedding the Knowledge Lab as our virtual collaboration facility, sharing our change leadership experience through insights called Views at One, re-organising our team to ensure consistently excellent customer service to a growing client base, and investing in new premises that are better suited to our future needs.

The prospects for 2012 look equally strong and we look forward to a challenging and successful year ahead. Putting our clients first will continue to be the core principle of our approach.
