Kicking Off 2011

The whole team gathered at Manchester's Lowry Hotel, to celebrate outstanding performance in 2010 and look forward to the year ahead.

And what an occasion!

As one of our newest recruits, attending his first Project One Kick-Off, said, "That you were prepared to hold the event in such a professional way says much about Project One".

With an Olympic year approaching, Project One wanted to define its Gold Medal Standard for 2011 and the years ahead. The event unveiled its 5-year Business Direction to some acclaim from the team.

"The whole thing was well articulated and really well organised. Most importantly there were some great messages delivered", said Doug Cliffe. "I came away enthused and re-energised by what was a highly professional, engaging, thought provoking and enjoyable event", said Mark Jackson who was attending his fourth Kick-Off. 

The Business Direction set out ambitious targets and did so in a way that enthused and inspired the team.  What a great start to the evening!

Along with the 5-year Business Direction, we introduced Project One's new Brand and Marketing initiative to enable us to increase awareness of Project One and the services we provide. "I was especially interested to learn about all the Brand and Marketing work", said Sarah Rushe who joined the team in Autumn 2010.

We formally launched our new Knowledge Lab to great acclaim, accompanied by a few glasses of champagne!  Project One's Knowledge Lab and our underpinning Know-How has been a great success story and is delighting our customers as a key part of our overall service delivery.

Finally, we celebrated the team's achievements during 2010 and the tremendous feedback from our customers, demonstrating that we consistently deliver outstanding results.  As one customer put it,

"Project One are outstanding at what they do and I would not hesitate to recommend them across the Group", Business Director, Major Retailer.

Overall the 2011 Kick Off was a huge success and got our year off to a flying start - it was perhaps best summarised by Dave Jepson, "Fantastic event, by a good distance the best that I have attended.  Good messages, coherently joined together, with a good balance of ‘light stuff' and opportunity to mix and mingle.  Great venue, great food, good service".
