Developing a high performance culture

One of the top change programmes for a major financial services company was a People Change Programme to create a sustainable long-term shift in performance.  Whilst the organisation, supported by specialist third parties, had the expertise on specific aspects relevant to the change, strong management was needed to lead the programme from initial concept, business case and shaping of the plan through to implementation ... our job was to get things moving.

Our impact:

  • Facilitated management thinking to develop a shared vision for driving up people performance across the whole organisation
  • Defined the programme with specific objectives, scope and benefits focused on leadership development, management capability, performance development processes, employee engagement and recognition
  • Developed an overall programme plan with clear checkpoints and supported detailed planning activities with workstream leads
  • Mobilised the programme with all required governance and resources in place
  • Developed the approach for implementation of change into each business area, including roles, responsibilities
  • Supported the Executive Sponsor to ensure stakeholder alignment and took the Steering Group on a journey to get them to understand and champion 'high performance', pilot the changes and support the implementation
  • Managed progress, resolving issues that threatened delivery, and worked closely with workstream leads to drive delivery and support delivery activities
  • Subsequently shaped the approach for implementing a 'university'
